Which means I'll be doing the usual written exorcism of Valentine's day by writing ficlets for anyone on my flist who desires a Valentine! Last year I took requests and set very few limits. If you saw the crack fic of doom, you may realize I've learned my lesson and will make skitty_kitty work harder to earn total insanity from me!

So, from each category:

Pick a Fandom: Eureka, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Lost, House, BSG, NCIS, Dexter, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Ask me about others, I may go for them! No Crossovers this year! =P

Pick a Pairing: Het, Slash, Threesome, whatevah! It's a Valentine's story! Limit two! (I'm looking at you, skitty_kitty)

Pick a Circumstance: Could be anything as big as a kink, as small as a random object to include, or as random as a quote or song lyric to inspire the story. But a guideline/bunny/request of some sort!

And make note of anything you don't want to see in the fic- If you don't want slash in your het or vice versa, you'll have to let me know!

ETA: Also, cuz I'm a little short on time lately, if in the highly unlikely event I get up to ten requests, that's the cap!

Fandom: Eureka

Pairing: Jack/Nathan (who else?)

Takes place at any point between sometime mid-season 1 and before the obvious event in season 3.

Prompt: Pre-slash, pre-relationship, leading up to first time or relationship (whatever you feel like writing out)

I guess this focuses on Jack and Nathan's relationship developing to the point of discovering attraction to each other.

But, not so fast - they have to start from never having been (consciously) attracted to men before. Before meeting each other, they did not date men in college and did not self-identify as gay or bi.

So how did two heretofore straight males end up humping madly in a GD utility closet (or wherever) despite themselves? May lead to either fluff or angst, or both. Bonus points for Taggart walking in on them and making remarks about mating habits.

It has to be from season three.

Zoe finds out her dear old Dad is hiding his relationship with Nathan from her, and has a mild freak out because 1) He never even told her he was bi, and 2) How the heck did they go from rivals to a relationship?

At some point she goes to her Aunt Lexi about it and Lexi sets her straight while her Dad is busy working/and worrying his only daughter is pissed.

By the end of the story Zoe has accepted the relationship and wants to be supportive.

I was torn between Eureka and Torchwood for a bit, but finally decided to pick Eureka since that's the fandom I've been mainlining obsessing over lately. (And the world needs more Eureka fic, imho.)

So: Eureka, Jack/Nathan, Nathan's hurt (for whatever value of hurt you like - major, minor, physical, emotional - no restrictions save a happy ending is preferred and heavy bdsm is not)

Jack is smarter than he lets on (at least in one scientific field). Stark finds out when Carter solves a problem Stark couldn't. Starks researches. Eyes are opened. Confrontations are had. Slashiness ensues...

I'm sadly unimaginative so I hope you can make something out of this...
