Fic: Siren's Tears, Jack/Nathan, Eureka
Apr. 9th, 2009 07:30 pmTitle: Siren’s Tears
Pairing: Jack/Nathan, mention of past Jack/Dr. Hood
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 8200
Disclaimer: I don’t own them, but the original bunny did come from staff writer Eric Wallace wanting to do but not getting to do an episode about fears manifesting themselves.
Warnings: Disturbing or potentially frightening images, slash, AU- belonging to the general “Allison said no and life went on” AU, tissue warning, character death of original/non-canon character.
A/N: Thanks to
vakair_dar for the beta work! Wanted to do horror fic last Halloween, dug this up recently and it finally came together. Inspired by Eric Wallace wanting to do episode about fears being exposed but not getting to.
Summary: It was an utterly useless discovery, except for torture and terror, so she emptied the vials of the chemical in the fountain, went home, and poured herself a drink. The fire, burning the last of her useless notes, was cheerful, making it easy to miss the dark fog that curled sinuously under her door…
( What potions have I drunk of Siren tears, Distill'd from limbecks foul as hell within, Applying fears to hopes, and hopes to fears... )
