Title: Siren’s Tears
Pairing: Jack/Nathan, mention of past Jack/Dr. Hood
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 8200
Disclaimer: I don’t own them, but the original bunny did come from staff writer Eric Wallace wanting to do but not getting to do an episode about fears manifesting themselves.
Warnings: Disturbing or potentially frightening images, slash, AU- belonging to the general “Allison said no and life went on” AU, tissue warning, character death of original/non-canon character.
A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] vakair_dar for the beta work! Wanted to do horror fic last Halloween, dug this up recently and it finally came together. Inspired by Eric Wallace wanting to do episode about fears being exposed but not getting to.
Summary: It was an utterly useless discovery, except for torture and terror, so she emptied the vials of the chemical in the fountain, went home, and poured herself a drink. The fire, burning the last of her useless notes, was cheerful, making it easy to miss the dark fog that curled sinuously under her door…

What potions have I drunk of Siren tears, Distill'd from limbecks foul as hell within, Applying fears to hopes, and hopes to fears... )

Title: Boys and their Toys
Fandom: Eureka/Iron Man Crossover. (Set just before the film, and nebulous future post season 3.0.)
Pairing: Tony Stark/Jack Carter, Nathan Stark/Jack Carter
Rating: PG-13 for language, sexual suggestion
Word Count: ~9300
Disclaimer: Don’t own any of them, but would love to consider a rent to own policy.
Summary: Nathan’s cousin has a special way of driving him insane. For Jenn, who wanted to see a jealous Nathan forced into confessing his feelings by a rival and separately has been bugging me to do the Ironman/Eureka crossover I kept thinking about writing. ...Also because she’s holding my fluffy yellow duck hostage until this is done and posted. First in the "Thicker Than Water" series.

I can take care of myself. Well, if I want to. Your cousin isn’t half bad looking. )
